Attn: Chicago area ladies-Hair Cuttery for trims?

I want to find someone I can TRUST to just trim my ends periodically. I have botched them on my own. Has anyone gone to a hair cuttery or chain cuttery place?

Any recommendations? If so please provide info. Also if you have gone to a salon where there are no scissor happy stylists, please let me know.
