A lot of women have used this product line. You could do a search on "curls" to see what comes up. I'm sure there are many threads where women talk about using the products. It seems that a lot of the women like the Curls Milkshake and Asian Tea Conditioner. HTH.

NuMe,

Here's my experience.
When I first started my "new" products search, Curls is one of the lines that I started with. Unfortunately, they have changed the formulas of most of their products at least 2 times in a year, so I am wary of repurchasing. They now have cones in a lot of their leave-ins. They used to have a pure/all natural line that they discontinued...If you don't mind cones, you can try samples to see if you like them.

For example, I loved the Curly Q Custard as a moisturizer they changed that formula twice. Fortunately, I bought 2 when I purchase last year, so I still have 1 of the old versions. I will not purchase this latest formula.

Their Spiral Curls Cream, I loved, but they changed it & added cones & I will not purchase this formula.

I liked the original version of the Asian Tea conditioner. I used it w/heat & my hair did feel moisturized, but haven't tried the changed version w/cones (yes, I do have it in my PJ closet:perplexed )

I have the older version of the Coconut Cream Moisturizer. I don't even remember if I tried it:look:. Their latest version looks better with this product.

They changed the Whipped Cream which I like better now. I wanted something heavier over the winter.

The Moisturizer feels slimy....

I do like the Milkshake & will repurchase, but have recently fallen in love w/QB Honeybrush Tea Gel.

I do like the Goddess Glaze as well, its formula has not changed & had cones originally, which I didn't mind since I would put it over a moisturizer because it dries crunchy. I may repurchase, but have other gels that I need to use up first.

The Elixer is ok, but I doubt that I will repurchase.

I haven't tried the shampoo.

I've been waiting to see what their new black label products will be like...

Sorry so long.

Thanks for you detailed review. I've been looking for an alternative to Miss Jessie's (that will ship to Canada - dang Qhemet ~ when will you ship north of the border :ohwell:) and this line is not that expensive.

jayjaycurlz: Blended Beauty is based in Canada. Have you tried their products?

I do like BB Kick for Curls moisturizer, but have started making my own. I would repurchase.

BB Happy Nappy is similar to Curls Whipped Cream

BB Styling Lotion is probably closest to Curls souffle or custard.

BB Curl Frizz Pudding similar to Curls Spiral Curls

The Styling Butter is pretty good too.

I did like BB conditioner, but am looking for cheaper products now to see if I can get similar results.

Overall, I found Curls better for defining curls.

Curls I liked the Monoi de Tahiti that was supposed to be in most of their leave ins. They seem to have moved away from this. So I bought my own Monoi de Tahiti. BTW: The customer service was good. One of my orders was shipped incorrectly. I called customer service & the owner called me back within an hour or 2 & quickly resolved it. A big plus!

Ladies,

Thank you SO MUCH for your detailed reviews. I am waiting for my Hair Milk from Carol's Daughter to be delivered, so I will let you know how that works in taming my curls. I am still looking for that wonder product that moisturizes as well as controls.

I know my hair doesn't like too many cones, but I may just have to try some of the products from the Curls line.

Thanks again!

IA. If you're already in Canada, you might as well try Blended Beauty and save shipping. My BB favs are Butter Me Up, Soft Curls and Swirls, Butter Creme. I have a sample of straight pearl, but haven't used it yet. I liked products from both Curls and BB, but I'm trying not to rely on products that I have to order on-line.
