this is the same plant referred to in the Bakabeautiful Natural laxer and in the Penn Herb Natural laxer.If this plant is poisonous I wonder whether or not it would have a toxic effect on the skin and scalp? I have never tried it but am doing some research on natural products for the hair, to loosen the curl, and strengthen the hair shaft
