I want to try making my own conditioner/shampoo/ moisturizer but with minimal products.

For Conditioner I have:

1. Dimethicone (as a base and for slip)
2. Panthenol (as a strengthener)
3. Coconut Oil
4. Avocado Oil
5. Jojoba Oil
6. Polyquaternium 7 (for detangling)

For Shampoo I have:

1. Organic Vegetable Castile liquid soap (does not contain Ammonium Laureth Sulfate which is very dangerous)

2. Panthenol (as a strengthener)
3. Polyquaternium (for detangling)

Scalp Treatment:

1. MN
2. Sulfur 8
3. Jojoba Oil
4. Panthenol (but a very small amount)

Chocolate Chip Cookie Oil Fragrance or another one of my choice (no benefits but just for a scent)

I am purchasing a digital scale for measuring and a PH meter.

How does this sound? I am doing all of these purchases within the next two weeks. If I am missing an essential vitamin or add in let me know.

So far so good. Be careful with how much oil you add with the silicone. Both will be occulsive agents so you might have to experiment to see if your hair like more of what

Ditto.

I'd try to make up small batches, make sure you note how much you're using, and then try them out...that way you can adjust things later.

great info. So if I make this for the deep conditioner, make sure that I do not overdose on the oils since the Dimethicone is needed for the conditioner to stay.

And for a leave in, use little to no Dimethicone.

not yet. Although the herbarie does have recepies and sample mixtures on their sites so at first it will be trial and error but all of it will start off with small amounts and testing.
