Very true. I have always wondered if you can put pure milk, like coconut milk, from the can and if it would turn the ingredients?

Do you mean can you put coconut milk in your hair? Or supplement coconut milk in your diet for regular milk? About the latter I'm not sure. I don't think coconut milk has the same properties as regular milk but both are known to be good for the hair and body so it might not even matter. I might just be an apples and oranges kind of thing. They're both good for different reasons maybe?

I really don't like milk except with cereal but I'll try drinking a glass with my P&J sandwich in the mornings.

Ohhh... people here use coconut milk on their hair. I've done it myself a few times. I'm sure if you put it in the search function you'll find threads about it. I don't think coconut milk goes sour but regular milk from the fridge would so I'd just mix up enough to put on my head. I wouldn't pour it in my whole bottle. I remember someone on here said they got mold in their conditioner bottle. I think it was from using honey though.

Same here, I only use regular milk in my cereal otherwise I drink Soy milk. I wonder if you can get the same benefits from Soy milk.

Yah, yah try it with your P& J sandwhich it is :lick: the only time I can drink milk is with something sweet...ummm...okay...I'm greedy and had to elaborate a litttle more:grin: .....*leaves thread*

Nope! I got out of the habit of drinking milk daily after high school, but I am getting back into it!!! In high school, I would trade the majority of my gross cafeteria lunch for a carton of milk. We have osteoporosis in my gene pool, so I am trying to prevent it if possible. Plus, I really like the taste of milk.

LOL Am I the only person who actually likes and drinks milk daily?

As long as it has strawberry or vanilla quik in it. A good way to incorperate milk into your diet is instead of buying a caramel macchiatto at Starbucks... get a vanilla or caramel cream. Its steamed milk with flavoring and whipped cream.

Nope! I love milk and all other dairy products.:lick: Although lately, I've been eating more yogurt than drinking milk.

Me too. I take a yogurt with me to work every morning.

Bravenewgirl - I don't have money to be wasting at expensive ass Starbucks. A regular old glass of whole milk a day works for me. I do get a Reindeer Drink (steamed milk) w/ Almond or Caramel from Caribou Coffee on occasion though.

I cant drink whole milk thanks to my mother. When i was younger, she olny bought 2% milk, and since my body got used to 2%, every time i try to drink whole milk, i get stomach cramps. If i must drink whole milk, it has to be in very small quantitys and i have to chase with a lot of water.

Now, since i've been drinking slim/skim/fatree milk reagularly, 2% milk seems a bit too strong for my stomach sometimes (still not as strong as whole milk though). If i havent drank it in a while, i'll have to ease into 2% by drinking a little at first, and then slowly increasing my ounces daily until i can drink an 8oz glass or more without cramping. Usually when i go shopping, I will buy two gallons of milk - a 2% gal for my kids, and a fat free gal for me. nobody else likes my milk, they think it taste watery, but i love it!

Since i've been taking my vits and supplements more regularly, I've been craving more milk. I went from drinking less than half a gal a week, to now going through an average of a gal and a half and sometimes dipping into the kids supply:look: .

I used to put this concoction of milk, olive oil and eggs on my hair as a deep conditioner and it was wonderful, left my hair shiny and beautiful.

I thought about doing this the other day, but i didn't proceed because i didn't want my husband to think i was weird (-er than usual) putting food in my hair. He already think most of the hair tactics i do now are crazy as it is.:look:

I think i might give it a try tho, maybe this weekend.... :sekret:
