Here I grow again!
Browsing through the seminars and exhibitors at the upcoming Bronner Bros Hair Show, I ran across Arosci Intensive Restructuring System which sounds like a BKT but without formaldahyde. (I didn't search to see if this was brought up before but, it's late and if so, chalk it up to my being delirious. sorry).

Here's a link to someone transitioning, trying it out and her thoughts on it.

Also, there's a restructuring foam.

Just want to know if anyone's familiar, has experience or any opinions on it. I think I may attend the free seminar to see what it's all about but I don't want to waste my time if it's a bunch of bs.

This sounds really interesting. I would like to see what the hair would looks like without heat. How much curl is left. Off to research ingredients.

NJoy I never heard of it. But it sounds interesting. I am going to try to research it myself. This might be something I am willing to do.

On the video her hair looks great i willing to pay that once every 4 months as well to avoid relaxing.

Hi guys, it was my video NJoy linked to. It's been 2 months since I did the treatment and so far it's been great. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask.

Thanks guys. The ingredients of the foam which I used are as follows:
Water, oxoacetamide carbocystene/oxoacetamide Amino acids, glycerine, Coco glucoside, avocado extract, sweet Marjoram extract, sunflower extract, lemon grass extract, green tea extract, anise extract, comfrey extract, jasmine extract, polysorbate 20 fragrance, methylchloroisothiazolinone.

It's not quite like the BKT as it contains no formaldehyde or any of it's derivatives. It also doesn't actually use keratin but the amino acid cysteine instead. More details HERE.

thanks for the ingredient list! your hair looks gorgeous. Do u know the difference between the foam and serum? It seems that one is primarily for straightening and the other is to maintain natural curls

I think you're right the serum looks more like a way of making natural curls more manageable without altering the curl pattern too much. It also probably provides a certain measure of the smoothing and strengthening effect the foam has.

Was at a beauty supply store and they did not have my relaxer Mizzani BB in regular strength in the big tub, the lady recommended me Arosci line, she said it was salon quality. I don't know much about it. Researching and came across this thread. Not sure if it is the same.

Arosci
Conditioning Creme Relaxer 64 oz,
Advanced Normalizing & Balancing Rinse
Advanced Neutralizing Shampoo
Intensive Moisture Treatment

Were the products to go with the relaxer as well listed above.
Anybody used these? Past 6 mths post and can't find a big tub of my relaxer anywhere.

The relaxer is totally different than the BKT style treatment

NO.
The Design essentials STS is the way to go IMO. Just bought a bottle which will last me a year and cost £150.
