If yes, how do you normally wear your hair and how do you take care of it??

I just joined a fitness centre and i'm dying to use their pool. I don't know if I can in the week though because at the moment i'm roller setting once a week on a Sunday and wear my hair straight all week long. The good thing is they have a new technology that cleans the water without chlorine but still it's gonna get wet! :ohwell:

most people seem to wear caps over thier hair, when i swim i just keep my hair out and wash it really good when i get home, then i let it air dry. Most of the time my hair is in braids too.

I swim like once a week. I cover my hair with wheat germ oil and then put on a swimming cap. If i get tired of the swiming cap thevwheat germ oil will protect my hair. Then i wash my hair when i get out of the pool.

I put Burt's Bee Pre Poo Avocado Gel on under my cap (I feels like a slippery vasaline where the water doesn't really penetrate it) and a swimming cap, i don't put the gel near my hair line or it will slip off. I wash with either KBB shampoo or a baby shampoo as not to keep stripping my hair (I swim 4 times a week). Then I use a deep conditioner like SheScentIt banana Brulee until I get home to rinse it out and then style as normal with my butters and such. So far I haven't have excess breakage or drying or anything.

I swim about 4 to 5 times a week. My hair is in a Malinda Williams/ Halle Berry short hairstyle. My hair does get wet despite the silicone swim cap. I rinse my hair with a little shampoo and saturate it with conditioner, leaving it in for about 5 to 10 minutes. Then, I add Moroccan Oil and Sebastian wet, and style it wet. It air-dries in that wet-look style. At night, I moisturize and oil really well before going to bed. In the morning, I do it all over again. The key is the "cut". I'm currently looking into shampoos specifically designed to rid hair of chlorine.

Ah, thank you! I will try this this week. I'll work the conditioner in so it isn't obvious and probably wear something nice over it until I get home, wash it off and then roller set again.
