Are there any ladies in here who press their hair?

If you do what kind of pressing iron do you use? (or) What is your pressing techniques?

I am natural now & a beginner at pressing.

I do. I use an electric pressing comb, or a flat iron. Sometimes I blow dry first, sometimes I braid and allow the hair to air dry then press the next day. Just depends on what I feel like or how much time I have.

Here are some threads that will help you

And don't overlook youtube. It's one thing to read about things and another to see them done.

I use a traditional pressing comb by Kentucky Maid. I don't really have any technique but I do make sure I have two pressing combs going at once to keep the temperature of the combs up. I find with one comb you press a section, put the comb back in the stove, wait for it to heat up and then go over the section again.......by then my hair gets frizzy! With two combs I can use one while one heats up! :)
