Are mesh rollers supposed to have wire?

Inside of them? I was wondering because mine look like that and I was wondering if that was normal. They're by Diane and are called Professional Beauty Rollers, the packaging looks kinda old.

Yup, the mesh is over wire, kind of looks like a spring! That's totally ok!
I love mesh rollers. I hope they work for you.

Just make sure that there is no brush on the inside.

Mine have wires in them. You know for stability. You can't get a smooth rollerset if they aren't sort of hard. You need to be able to create the tension when you wrap your hair around the roller.
