I have a ton of bandanas and since I have been coming to this site I started thinking hey I don;t sleep on a cotton pillowcase so why am I wearing a cotton bandana on my head? Do you think it would be okay to wear a bandana if I put a doo rag on under it (doo rag hidden of course;)).

Welcome to LHCF! It sounds like you are wearing bandanas for fashion. Since cotton sucks out the moisture in our hair, wearing a do-rag underneath would work, but it can probably get hot in the summer (depending where you live).

I like bandanas too and bought a pretty navy silk one at www.tenderheaded.com. I like wearing it during the summer. :)

Absolutely! :yep: The satin should protect your hair, quite nicely.

Thank you for that website;) Silk bandanas could take care of both issues at once.

I wear cotton bandanas, sometimes I wear them days at a time (I mean, I wash my hair every day, so I don't wear them 24/7- but I will sleep in them).
I don't have problems with them, but like I said, I don't wear them 24/7 so I don't have the loss of moisture issue.
