Applying Wild Growth Hair Oil

First let me introduce my self. My name is Nikki and I'm a newbie to this forum. I love this forum to bits. For the past couple of days I've been "lurking" around the site and soaking up all the info I can and I'm enjoying everysingle bit of it. I'm also getting ready to take pics of my hair so I can keep tabs on the progress I'm making. he he he I can't wait for my hair to grow!!! My goal is to get it looking like my moms erplexed which is bra strap length and its really thick.

But anyways...I'll stop blabbing now.

I just have a question for you guys...I just bought some Wild growth hair oil yesterday. On the bottle it has instructions on how to apply it...but I've been reading on here that there are other methods spray bottle etc. What is the best way to apply the stuff?

In the bottle it came in(using the nozzle tip) I believe that the Wild Growth is too thick for a spray bottle unless diluted with water.

I just squeeze some into my hand and apply it to damp hair. I use the nozzle appicator on my new growth.

Hey Verseau-bleu welcome to lhcf!!!! i only apply mine to my scalp, mostly between the rows of my cornrows or braids or twists to moisturize the roots and scalp i never put it on the hair

I apply WGO to my scalp and put about dime to quarter size amount into the palm of hands and rub through my hair.

Ditto, I only use it once a week when I shampoo since my hair gets oily very easily

I apply it to wet or dry hair and scalp. It's best on wet hair b/c the smell dissapates quicker.

I rub it in my palms and then apply it to my ends only. It's too greasy for my scalp. I love it...it keeps my ends so soft.

Welcome to the forum! I use it after I conditioner wash on wet hair. I apply it directly to the scalp and use a little on my damp hair.

Welcome!!! This board is really awesome! I just purchased WGO last week, so I cannot add too much because I had the same question

I tried that method and I got a big ole oily mess

I find it does work best on damp hair, when I use it on dry hair its a bit too oily.
