Hi everyone!

OK the search is down so sorry if this question's already been asked.

I'm texlaxed and wear my hair curly everyday. Its finally got to a length I am happy with so I'm keen to wear my hair down more often nowadays (after years of bunning, day in, day out).

I am thinking about trying a mousse for relaxed hair (as its alcohol free) to speed up my drying time. I tend to wet my hair every day/every other day to keep my curls/waves de-fuzzed and moist but am not so keen on the jheri curl look (been there done that, being a lady of a certain age).

At the moment, I'm using miss jessie's baby buttercreme (despite swearing never to cos of a list of things I wont go into right now) but am finding I need to be heavy handed to get the definintion I want, and Idont like the stickiness.

Anyone used tried either or both of the above? Any recommendations/warnings tips?

Any advice/comments welcomed

Well, looks like no-ones got anything to say on this but anywho, I tracked down some Vigorol and boy o boy dos that stuff set hard?!!!!

I'm going to the Aphogee mousse also to see if thats any better.

When I was relaxed I used John Frieda's mousse and it was ok as long as I applied it over a little olive oil with decent results. Never used the products you mention.

Just posting to bump your question. Hope someone answers...

My stylist has always used Vigorol Mousse for my wet sets so I followed suit and I purchased a few cans and I put it in my hair when I do my wet sets.
