Hey guys! I'm so excited about my hair, I just wanted to share with you all...

So tonight I did the Aphogee 2 step treatment- the best thing that ever happened to my hair! This is my 1st ever protein treatment and my hair must've been dying for protein, because I didn't even have to deep condition afterward.

Anyways, I'm including a before pic (wish I had better ones) from a couple weeks ago because my curls were so limp and lifeless and, to me, the difference is SO noticeable. Up until now, I've just been moisturizing and moisturizing and moisturizing and it got to a point where my curls were so limp that I was starting to believe I had heat damage, which really didn't make much sense because I rarely ever use heat...LOL. Anyway, I'm just glad I found this site before I got to chopping...

Now I got more shrinkage going on, but I feel like this is the best my hair has looked, and felt naked in a very long time.

Hey there, thanks for the great pics and testimonial!

We have similar hair, although mine has areas with smaller/tighter curls (mostly in the front).

Your hair looks remarkably smooth and frizz-free for "naked" hair!

I recently got into protein (Nexxus Emergencee and Joico JPAK) because I have fine, thin hair that tends to look limp in the looser parts in the back. Unfortunately, I think the treatments I've been doing, even when followed with a moisturizing deep condition, have made my hair crispy and easy to snap off.

Do you think of your hair texture as fine, too?

Yeah, I have really fine hair. Umm, I really don't know why your hair is snapping... I'm really new to this whole protein thing myself.

Oh and just to clarify, the 1st pic has product in it.. (rene furterer control emulsion anti-frizz)

YankeeCandle,

I dunno, maybe I'm giving such a good review because my hair was really desperate for protein (All I do is moisturize, plus I got my hair highlighted 3 months ago, then did a permanent colour about a week ago.) So maybe you need something more lightweight, or perhaps less often...

the results are fabulous. My hair just goes back and forth. One day curls pop. Another day they won't. Then, my ends are getting weaker and I can tell because I run my fingers through and the ends will come off sometimes. I think I'd better check out this protein treatment.

My hair was going through the same thing with the no pop, and weakened ends/bits of breaking. GO FOR IT, and lemme know how it went. (Just be warned tho, this stuff smells like stale vomit...)

The results are so pretty! I was only using 2-step on days that I flat iron, but now, I'm going to stay curly after the next application.

You and your hair are very pretty!

I don't have the 2-Step, but I do have the 2-Min. Maybe I can get my curls to perk up half way?

its so crazy i was just about to buy this treatment for my natural hair. my hair is very fine and loves protein and i was gonna do this for the first time. i didnt get it though but i might next month.

I'm beginning to think this stuff is good for natural fine hair. I hope you do get it, I think you'll love it.

First of all, your hair is gorgeous! :yep: Second, you just reminded me to break out my stinky Aphogee and see if I can't plump up some of my curls. I've been feeling like my curls are as limp as can be lately. I actually am dealing with a bit of loosening from heat and henna damage, but maybe stinky-poo Aphogee will turn it around. Just maybe.

Your hair looks great! I'm relaxed and the Aphogee 2-step is one of the best things that happened to my hair.

I'm under the dryer with it in my hair now.
