I would like to try these conditioners under a hooded dryer. Does anyone do this? What are your results? Thanks

I add olive oil to them and use as a deep conditioner for 30 minutes. Results are fabulous.:superbanana:

I use both of these with and with out heat.

Honeysuckle and rose

- with heat: I use it with heat when I need some serious moisture. I like to use it with heat after a heavy protein treatment

- without heat: it still gives me moisture and I get more slip with out heat than with heat with it. I also pre-poo with it without heat

GPB

-with heat: with heat, this conditioner really packs in the protein for me (I have fine hair). I use a little heat with it just to make it a little more hardcore for me. Even then, it is still a mild protein conditioner

-without heat: I get strengthening and detangling benefits without heat. I like it both ways, just depends on what my hair is up too at the time

I don't use the HR but I love the GPB. I agree with gym on both with and without. I also love it as a prepoo on dry hair, sometimes with heat, sometimes without. It always does my hair right. Strong, soft, and detangled. :yep:

I've tried the HR both ways and I find the no heat way the best. For once following the directions works best, who knew!

Never used the GPB b4.

I always use AOHR with heat.

Usually I add it to my dry hair, then go under dryer for 20 min. Then I shampoo and use an instant conditioner afterward. It helps reduce shedding, especially when I'm past 8 weeks post.

I also use it after I do a heavy aphogee treatment for about 30min under hooded dryer.

yes that is true. The HR is best for me without heat. The GPB I use without heat on dry hair. (I try to avoid heat as much as possible)

I swear by AOHR as a pre-poo as a deep condish. It does the job- on dry hair conditioning its the bomb- on wet hair its the bomb- overnight- its the Bomb. With heat - the Bomb- w/o heat- the bomb! It provides moisture and no cones!!!
GPB- I don't use it cause I use hardcore Aphogee and thats all the protein I need.

I use both. I always use them with heat. I love the results when I do. I add honey and/or coconut oil to the HSR.

ITA, the HSR seems to just work better as a prepoo on dry hair no heat for me.

ITA!
You are right. In fact, before I got on the forum I put some on my hair before braiding it up. I am going to sleep on it and wash when I get home tomorrow night.

i use heat with the honeysuckle rose. i'v never used it without heat, so i can't tell it you which is better. i've never used the gbp.

I've used both w/ heat and the results are great! Especially the GPB....I use this as my light protein cond. weekly and it is great...real moisturizing for me for a protein cond.
