Anyone's hair growing OUT more than DOWN??

Hey, you all know I'm natural. I have been for about 5 years and one month. Well lately my hair has been growing more out then down (length wise). I started out growing down-but now I'm growing out??? Anyone else have any (crazy/unique) growth patterns????

Me too. I have relaxer, but I'm wondering since I had my hair cut in a bob for so many years the lower back is very fine and short. Please advise.

I've been natural for almost 2 years. I don't ever forsee my hair growing down.

My hair started growing down rapidly in the first 3-4 years-now it seems like its widening-especially in the front. The back of my hair reaches under my shoulder blade (I think), and the front of my hair almost reaches my collarbone.
