Anyone with thin, fine hair use a Volumizer?

My hair is gaining in length but it is thin and really fine.

I've been reading up on a volumizer by Matrix that expands the hair strand by 22% and it sounds really interesting.

Has anyone used a volumizer on their hair? How did you incorporate it into your routine and what were your results?

Can you also name some other items I can use to thicken my hair.

I have a volumising shampoo and conditioner. I used it a few times but stopped coz it was really drying to my hair. I'm not really sure if it thickened my hair as I didnt use it for long enough.

I use a voluminezer from time to time depending on the hstyle. I've tried the pantene shampoo which I like and the KMS leave in voluminez nothing spectacular.

I'm currently using a leave-in volumizer by Nexxus. It's a leave in treatment and volumizer all in one. It has wheat protein, etc., but you have to be very careful when setting your hair with it. It causes your hair to get tangles. Hope this helps.
