as a protectant before relaxing? If so, how is that working for you? How are you applying it? What differences did you notice from using the Chi, good or bad? I just got some and I need a few pointers and good advice. TIA for your help!:)

I didn't really notice a difference. I applied to all over including the new growth. By faith it worked!

I've been using for about a week and so far so good. I like how it makes my hair feel - soft and silky.

I put it on towel dried hair, before I set it.

I used Silk Elements heat spray before I relaxed my virgin hair and it turned out great. I don't know if it was because of the silk or not. But I will continue to use it.

I used it, and I couldn't really tell a difference either. I used a different relaxer so I really had nothing to compare it to. It didn't hurt, so I'll probably continue to use it (or something similar).

Thats a great idea. I have some of this sitting under my sink collecting dust. I will definitely use this next wk before my retouch.:)
