I'm getting ready to move and was organizing my stash and came across the Curly Pudding and Curly Meringue, both barely used. I can't remember what type of results I got with them (apparently not stellar since they are barely used). I may revisit trying them again since they cost so darn much. :ohwell: Oh, I have the Baby Buttercream as well but that smell is too over-powering!

Any relaxed ladies using these? Getting good results? How are you using them? Naturals feel free to chime in as well.

I looked at the ingredients and the petroleum + price drove me away. I was surprised that a petroleum filled product is so popular.

I'm natural and the CM is one of my favorite styling products. My braidouts and twistouts look phenomenal when I use it.

I guess when I first discovered this site I was a full fledged PJ. I guess I wanted to see what all the hype was about.

i like MJ products. not all of them though.
the pudding smell is too strong for me to use and it has a hard hold like a gel and i dont use gels so im not going to use the pudding lol.
the meringue is amazing to me. sure you can find cheaper cream gellies with better ingredients(like DM dream curling cream, komaza califia pudding or ohm sweet hair pudding) but if you already have it its a good product. leave my hair nice and shiny with a soft to medium hold. i use it for twists and im going to get another jar and experiment with it on a wash and go.

I have used MJ products off an on since 2007. I use the CPudding only these days as the Buttercreme did not work for me at all. I use the CP for WNGs. For me, the CP is the only product that I have tried that leaves my hair looking great, without feeling goopy, clammy, icky etc. However, I use Wave Nouveau underneath and I have to clarify after using it a few days in a row becuase of the buildup. This product (the unscented version) will always be in my rotation for my curly looks :yep:.

my styles ALWAYS come out super great with the curly pudding. i just dont use it all of the time because it's not nourishing to the hair. but it's a great styler

Man I really wanted to like these products because they smell awesome! But like Empressri said, I don't like the fact that they are not nourishing so to speak. Oh well...

I tried the curly meringue yesterday and it didn't leave my hair soft the way I thought it would, And i still had some frizz. Mixed it with Kerastase Oleo Relax serum, to get good results. Smells great too but the smell doesn't last that long.
