anyone using avocado oil?

I used it on my hair a few times as a sealant. My initial reaction was "meh". I wasn't WOWed by it :nono: Now, I just use it on my skin.

I love it. It is one of the few oils that penetrates the hair shaft. I can't use coconut oil, so this is a great alternative for me. My hair feels great after using it. It is about the same consistency as olive oil in my opinion.

it is a staple (unrefined). It penetrates, nourishes, makes hair soft and gives shine. i always put it in dcd and hair cremes :lick:

I like using the unrefined avocado oil. Sometimes I apply it on top of my conditioner for extra shine.

This oil is my love! I use it along with castor oil (just half and half) and I absolutely love it. Gives my hair nice shine, by itself, it's not heavy but very penetrating. I love using it with castor oil because sometimes castor oil can make my hair feel kinda greasy but when I mix it with avocado oil it's like the perfect thickness or something it just soaks into my hair. I use these oils for everything!

It's my new favorite oil. It's great for light/warm weather. I use coconut and castor for fall/winter.

My hair loves avocado everything. I love the oil and butter. If my hair could talk, it would say it's the best sealer it is.

I was eyeing some today. The last time I tried it, it was just meh. Nothing that stood out. After I get through my other oils I'll give it a go again.

I just got this oil from Costco. A big bottle for $6.99. I want to love it and I pray that I do. I'll use when I take my braids out this month.

I just got it to use as a replacement for coconut oil. I haven't used it much to have an opinion but I do like that it's less greasy than olive oil and doesn't have as cloying of a smell as olive oil does. I don't think it'll beat my love for evco though.

I got the softest, silkiest (non-greasy!) hair of my life one night, after moisturing with a combo of avocado oil, Aphogee Pro-Vitamin Leave-in, and Nexxus Humectress.

The planets must have been in perfect alignment that night, because I was never able recreate that feeling. I'm still confused.

It's one of my favorite oils. It's heaven when mixed in my DCs. I used to purchase it from vitacost until I recently visited the food aisle at Marshall's and found it for less. :yay: I'm set for several months.
