Just wanna get a general census of Nioxin products!!!! Chime in and let me know your experiences with the products..

Thanks ladies!!!:grin::grin::grin:

I used Sally's Nioxin knock-off for my scalp. It did seem to help a little bit, but it was drying. I experienced breakage, but I also was not caring for my hair at that time. I was relaxed at that time.

I tried it, it did thicken my hair, but I didn't get any regrowth in my problem spot.
My sister tried it, she had thinning not balding, and it did wonders for her hair.

Love it. Nioxin is at the top of my list for shampoo/cond next to Nexxus. It gives you a great tingle, clean scalp, and yum smell. Not to mention, the products promote hair growth.

I am using it and it has helped. I cant tell if it helped my bald spot grow in because I am using OCT/MT but, it did help with the shedding I was experienceing (from an illness not OCT/MT). I used it once before, about 2-3 years ago and it helped me get past bsl. Pricey though.

I only use the shampoo and scalp treatment.

o ok!!!! Thanks for the responses ladies. I just feel that its time for a change and I had heard good things about it so I figured I could give it a try!

They have so many products. Which ones do you use?

I have tried the vits and my nails grew like crazy, but I'm not sure about my hair.

I take the vitamins and I don't notice anything I take two a day and am looking for a replacement.

My mom had actually used for a short period of time and it did wonders for her hairs. She had a little balding/thinning in the front of the hair. Unfortunately, she stopped using it because of the high price.

I just got the Nioxin #4 Starter kit, and Alterna Caviar Moisture Conditioner(kinda expensive, at $32 for 8.5oz, but is supposed to be seriously moisturizing). I need a lil bit more thickness.

i bought trial sizes of the Smoothing Reflectives line. I enjoyed the shampoo; it cleansed well and my hair felt moisturized after using it. the conditioner was "blah" and didn't have much slip, and the leave-in wasn't anything to write home about. i want to try the System 8 for chemically treated hair, but i'll wait until i use up all my other stuff.

i'd say a full size bottle of any of their shampoos are worth it; i was very impressed with the ingredients i saw.
