I REALLY want to buy this, but it's sooo expensive! I read reviews on NC, but I would love to hear from any 3c-4b who use it.

I haven't used it but I really wanted to try it. I haven't been able to find out the ingredients, though. Do you happen to know them? You're right it is expensive, which is why I need to know what's in it before I order. I'd be  if I ordered it only to find out it is loaded with protein.

I hope you'll post again if you try it!

I just bought it from CurlMart. I hate being a PJ!! I really hope this works, because $16 is a lot of money. Cichelle, I'm not sure if it's loaded with protein, but I noticed that my natural hair doesn't really mind it. I know yours does, so I hope it doesn't have too much! I'll let you know how it is when I get it.

Here are the ingredients: Aqueous Extracts of sage, nettle, chamomile, hops, rosemary, balm mint, yarrow, cherry bark, lemongrass and calendula, polyquanternium-55, Hydroxypropyl starch, cetyl alcohol, stearalkonium chloride, cetheareth-20, cetearyl alcohol, glycerin, corn starch modified, cetrimonium chloride, naPCA, Polyquaternium-10, Magnesium sulfate, silk amino acids, cocodimonum, hydroxypropyl hydroliyzed hair keratin, panthenol, tetrasodium edta, fragrance, methyl-chlorosothiazolinone, methylisouthiazolinone

Oh, thank you! Hmmm...

I see a couple of things there that might be iffy for my hair, but overall it looks okay, especially since I wouldn't be using it every day. I think I'm going to try this too, since I kinda want to wear my hair down during the holidays. :) Please give a review after you try it! And thanks again for posting the ingredients!

You're welcome! At least it doesn't have any cones or mineral oil. I hope it's OK for your hair, it sounds like a great product. I was reading someones journal on NaturallyCurly, and she said that she doesn't have to apply it everyday for it to work, and a little goes a long way. I'm horrible at hair typing, but I think her hair may be 3c? It's coily. I need to get better at hair typing.

I'l start by saying that I know that not every product is going to work for everyone....:) My experience with AG Re:Coil wasn't very good, my hair is protein sensative as well and Re:Coil really dried it out after one use. I couldn't stand the way my hair felt, I never do this but, 1/2 way through the day I had to wash my hair. I would say start by using a very small amount (dime) and work in gradiually increasing if necessary. I ususally will hang on to products and give it a second or third try, but not with Re:Coil I swapped it away on NC the day after I tried it.

Oh, no!! I hope it works out better for me. Thank you!

This is one of my favorite products! I've been using it for about four years now!

All you need is a quarter-sized amount... too much makes your hair icky. It's best over a leave-in conditioner.

ummm...how do you know when your hair is "protein-sensitive." Please, help a sister out...thanks!

I started noticing that every time that I used products which were high in protein my hair would start drying out and feeling like straw & would tangle up, and break or start shedding. I couldn't understand why this was happening it was really flustrating until I read Sistaslick's Sticky on Hair Breakage 101! :p All the time that I thought that by giving my hair protein I was helping it & I was actually damaging it. Too much protein leaves hair brittle and reduces its elasticity; I had to add more moisture into my hair regimen in order to correct the over load on protein.

Thanks Sistaslick!:notworthy
