Hope I'm not breaking rules, I'll remove link if needed. Its called morrocco method. I ran across a video on youtube showing the curl-elongating natural relaxer thingy and it looked interesting, so now I'm lurking their products. I'm trying to reform my product junkiness, but the results actually looked nice. Their stuff is a little pricey though, and hard to find a lot of reviews on, so I'm naturally suspicious. I already put in an inquiry and asked if the product ingredients can be explained in how they function. Don't want any chemicals thrown in there.

I'll update once I get a response. Til then, any other reviews?

Hmmm seems like you can just get some henna and do this yourself. I would check out the henna threads

i bought the 24/7 tame the dragon relaxer & a few other things back in December when they marked all of their styling products 75% off. it was $15. i haven't tried it yet though. i will probably try it the end of this month. i do love their shampoos.

Here's the response:

The results of this product are semi-permanent and will last for several weeks.

We have updated the relaxer and renamed the product Curl Power. We wanted to promote the idea that you can release your best natural curl instead of trying to change the pattern. Think of Curl Power as the relaxer 2.0—we added a couple finishing touches to the formula, renamed the product, and changed our literature. There’s definitely nothing wrong with the product and I think you’ll find that Curl Power works just as well (we would say even better!) to define, elongate, and detangle your curls.

Curl Power’s main ingredient is the amino acid Arginine, which serves as your all-natural, totally safe curl elongator and definer. It is highly effective, eliminating the danger of scalp burns or chemical damage and incredibly easy to use with no mixing, gloves, or strand test necessary.

Henna was a little too messy, plus I hated the smell and my hair is very red in the light. It did loosen my curls a little; I have 3c hair with 4a frizz....not a very good look. But henna is cheaper. I just don't want to risk permanently loosening my texture again, because by then my hair will be practically straight. :( I mainly want to try this on the roots that are coarse for some reason.
