I was thinking about getting the CVS brand. It's tabs or capsules, I believe and inexpensive....

But I question how pure it is....ANyone tried....

I wanna see if it can help with my keloid skin and faster hair growth.

I use the CVS brand. It's in capsules and the dose I have is 1,000 mg. I believe I paid less than $6 for it. I wouldn't recommend it. It just doesn't seem to be working, or atleast working like I thought it would. When I finish up this bottle, I'm going to purchase Trimedica MSM powder. I've seen several ladies on the board who use this brand.

I second this. I use the generic Doctor's Trust brand to help with my knee and joint pain. I take the gelatin capsules filled with powdered MSM. I'm not getting much results. Not even the detoxifying side effects. I will be switching to a powdered brand when I finish the bottle. I have not decided on the brand yet, but am exploring different options. Meanwhile, I will increase my dosage from 5000 mg. to 7000 mg. to see if there is a difference. HTH!

Thanks ladies!!

I guess you get what you pay for! I will be purchasing powdered, pure MSM...
