Just wondering if anyone has made their own sulfer mix similar to MTG and have received results. Where did you get the sulfer from and what oil did you mix with. Do you have a recipe?

Thanks

i think Den1 and Kbragg both have posted their recipes in the past. just do a search for "MTG alternative" or check the recipe board.

Why not try Naturallady's Boundless Tresses? It's her sulfur mix and many ladies, including myself, have experienced tremendous growth with it. ;)

Yes I made my own. The mix is posted in the recipe board. I have gotten great results with it. HTH Q

i'm getting good growth with mine. last month i got 1 1/4, i was applying to my scalp 5x a week. my mix consists of castor, jojoba, emu oil an a tbsp of sulphur powder. i usually mix it in the blender for 2 mintues then pour into my bottle and let it sit for an hour or two.

can you say how much of the oils you use. that is the part that i need to understand.
also where can you get sulfur. does anyone have a link?

it depends on the size of the bottle, i have a 8 oz.
measurements: 2 oz. of all the oils an a tbsp of sulphur powder, oh an i forgot 1 tsp of cosemtic grade fragrance oil, i have strawberry. for the sulphur powder you can get it from here http://sulfursoap.com/Sulfur-Powder.htm or http://www.baldwins.co.uk/http://www.baldwins.co.uk you have to type in the word sulphur for it to come up (uk website)

i have in the past! (note to self find my bag of sulfur) i cant remenber my mixture but im sure i wrote it down- if i find it ill post it.

huh? explain pls isn't this the anti malaria medication?

lol, i've heard that it is, and that its also i nsome mineral water

i duno why

it just works!

La India hair oil contains it

and these famous twins who had hair to the floor used it in their hair, their father made a hair growth pomade, and quiine sulphate was in the ingredients

I have made my own sulfur mix with good results but i wanted a product that does more for the hair. i've currently produced/testing a growth and health product which AIMS to promote growth, thickness in hair, reduces shedding, hair loss problems and sensitive scalp problems.

I mix my MTG with jojoba oil, biotin powder, natural oasis oil, and some oil-can't remember the name of it-but its by Carol's Daughter, I use it for the smell.

At the moment ive mixed vatika oil with sulfur (from www.baldwins.co.uk) and i also have a mix of sulphur jojoba, oilive and castor oil. I won't be using them until i grow up some hair, i HATE castor oil (yeaa i said it lol) and sulphur on my hair, but its cool on just my scalp. Ive also got another sulphur mix in the making...i may get blasted for this comment but why buy it when you can D.I.Y for a fraction of the cost? 500g of sulphur cost me £6...and it will last me years lol...

Mine worked pretty well. It was 1/4 sulphur (I used the flake kind not the yellow stuff) and whatever oil I was feelin' at the moment.

The one that worked the best had miconazole nitrate.

Sereca- you used miconazole nitrate and sulfur together in your mixture?

does anyone's mixture get sulfur lumps? mine works well but thse little lumps are driving me mad
before you apply the sulfur to the mix, grind it down until its powdered, or if its already mixed with oil, and contains lumps just run it through the blender.
