I just started self relaxing and I used this based on the good reviews. I was prepared for the possibility of being under processed b.c. this relaxer seems very slow at straightening. And i used the regular version.

I'm a little annoyed I had to keep it in past the required time just to get my desired straightness. Can anyone tell me how long you left yours on?

OMG! I used tghe mild yesterday. My scalp was on fire before I finished smoothing! But that was my fault lol. Anyway, my crown was left just a tad bit underprocessed. And I really mean tad. Pretty manageable. I am pleased with the results. I think it could have came out better if I knew what I was doing anyway. But I am a beginner self relaxer.

Nope. :nono:

No relaxer ever burned me so badly like this one. ( i think)

It used to mildly burn me eveytime, but the last straw was when I lost a patch of hair and got a bald spot. It also took forever to wash out and I lost a ton of hair when washing it out. Thought it was just "shed" hair, but it has stopped happening since I ditched SE.

I only persisted because it made my hair feel good, but my scalp suffered and I'm just now fully recovering. Never. again.

I switched to no-lye since (ORS) have never burned, retaining length beautifully, but get dandruff. :ohwell:
