I use it and love it. Sorry I cant tell you if the formulas have changed. Why do you ask? Did you have a bad experience or something?

I am (raises hand), I'm still working on my old formula bottles and I hope they last another year, I really love how they have been treating my hair, *sigh* .

Still using after more than 15 years and to my knowledge, the formulations have not changed . . .

Im glad u asked this and hope others chime in. I love Nexxus. I have tried Keracare and others but find myself coming home to Nexxus (just works better w/ my hair). Friday I went to my local beauty supply to pick up some Keraphix and Humectress and noticed he only had the liter sizes (and I don't get the liters unless it's 2/for $25. So I asked him where are the other sizes he usually carries and his reply was: Nexxus is phasing out the professionals line and is only sending me the phyto line. He suggested the Nexxus organics Enphuse n replace of Keraphix and Nexxus Phyto Organics Humectin in replace of Humectress. Now, mind you this man dont know what he is talkng about 30% of the time so I was reluctant to believe. But bcuz I needed them
I bought the Nexxus phyto products. The Humectin worked great, almost better than Humectress. The Enphuse did not work the same. Usually when I use Keraphix my shedding stops immediately. Im still shedding.

I dont know why Target and Walmart gets the professional line regular sizes and now he doesnt. So I wrote to Nexxus to get to the bottom of things. keep ya posted.

I'm still using! (I sound like an addict:rolleyes:) I have the original formulas.

A Sally's clerk recently told me the Humectress and Therappe are different now and that's what Sally's will be selling. She is a longtime user of both and she noticed right away.

I haven't seen this Nexxus phyto line yet. It's good to know the Humectin works so well and about the Enphuse too. Hmm...

Hmm...well, that's good to know!! I just (hesitantly) bought the "new formula" Humectress (Humectin) from the Phyto Organics Nexxus line about a week ago, and I haven't used it yet. I'm saving it for my wash day. I'm glad to hear good things about it though, because I was a bit worried... :D

Dang, I hope they don't change the orginal formulas because they are completely 'cone free and that's why it's my favorite premium brand. I'm not even tempted to try the phyto line 'cuz a quick review of ingredients indicates it is loaded with 'cones. . .

i still use it. i haven't noticed any difference in the formula. it's just harder for me to find a big bottle of humectress now that's all.

since nexxus was bought by V05, they've been changing the line around alot. they're in the process of phasing products in and out of their line. You can still find big bottles of products at BSS and drug stores in NYC, but I dont know how long that'll last. I'll try the Phyto line when I finish the bottles I have.

As for the topic, I dont use Nexxus shampoos anymore (they're just too hard for my hair) and Headress leave-in does absolutely nothing. But I still use Keraphix for my protein treatment.

I was even told by the owner of a BSS that Nexxus has even changed their ingredients to be of "lesser quality", and that those are the ones you see sold in grocery stores now. :nono:

He said that in the past Nexxus used to use superior ingredients in their line, and were only sold primarily in salons, and used by salon professionals. But now that the line is going more "mainstream", they have decided to lower their prices and in effect lower their "higher quality" ingredients. :(

I don't know if this is true or not, but it definitely gives me something to think about. :ohwell:

I am a newbie to Nexxus products but I do use emergencee. I love it much better than aphogee (I was a long time user) I am not thrilled about the rest of the product line. The results don't justify the price.

....same here. I use them on special occassions. They don't produce the Botanical Oil anymore! The New Humectress seems to be the same though:)
