Ladies,

I was just on their site. I haven't shopped there in a while. They have new products that look....welll....YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone still using??? I'm thinking about making a run up to the one in Harlem.

I haven't purchased anything since they changed the formulations (no longer all natural) and they got rid of some of my favorite body products :(

WHAT:eek: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was wondering why they weren't listing out all of the ingredients online...I think they used to.

That makes me really sade. That's one of the reasons I liked them was because they were all natural. I never had to really worry about the ingredients. The new descriptions online are yummy though.:perplexed

I am sticking with the basics HHB, Hair Balm and Elixir. I have noticed that the HHB forumla has changed. The HHB sits on my hair and doesn't calm down the newgrowth liked it did before I am going to start using the Phyto styling balm to deal with it. The hair balm and elixir are still great. HTH

Yeah girl, they added A LOT of stuff! I was looking at them in Sephora the other day, the ingredient listing for some stuff is twice, three times as long!!!

I mean, I use TONS of products with "artificial" ingredients, but that is what made CD different. I hate that they got "big time" and veared away from what was the selling point that made them the big success they are today. I just wish they could have stayed true to their mission.

I think the oils are the same...

It sucks because I have a "life time" membership with them and I can't really get the full benefit out of it :( (I've been supporting her almost since she set up shop...it was funny, I went into the Harlem Store and told them that I had a life-time membership and the girl tried to argue with me "no, none of our memberships are lifetime, you have to renew every year" Ha!!! Think she felt silly arguing only for her to call to find out she was WRONG!!!;) )

I still use CD products and I like them. I agree with KathyMay on the Hair balm. I haven't tried the Elixir yet.

This is very disappointing. I have never used her products because of the price, but just decided that since expensive products work better for my hair. I decided that after i used up all the stuff i have now...i was gonna purchase these products to see what they offer...hoping to find a staple... If they ain't all natural then she needs ta come down off of that expensive pricing  oh well...

  They're sold in Sephora now!!!!!!!!! They sure went big time!!! Are they more expensive in Sephora or the same as in their store??

I would like to know more about the Hair Milk and Mimosa Hair Honey. I've been really curious about those products, but just never ordered them. If anyone has any input about these 2 products specficially, I would highly appreciate it. The Hair Milk looks like it'll be good for protective styles like twist-outs, braid-outs, buns, rollersets, etc.

The prices are cheaper to me if you get them at sephora cause you don't have to worry about shipping costs.

Also most of the products have changed to increase their shelf life. There are still no mineral oil, petroleum etc. She had to add a few preservatives to be able to stock things in the sephora stores.

I still use the hair butter, hair milk and tui hair oils. They are DEFINATELY part of my staples and unless she stars adding alcohol and cones and stuff I'ma stick with it!

Hair milk is the the BOMB to me. I use it for a daily moisturizer. It is very light and absorbs quickly. I love it, love it, love it!!

Thanks, TeeKay!

Hair Milk is an awesome moisturizer, but for curl defienition, its hit or miss. If youre looking for a good moisturizer with a nice smell and don't care for deintion, this is a good choice

I ordered the Hair Milk and they were out. They never sent it to me. They said they would and charge my card but that never happened. They didnt have very good costumer service with my order. So I didnt get to try this one. (I am not sure if I will try to oder online again.)

I also wanted to try the Mimosa Hair Honey. I will wait until I go to Dallas to try them out (and smell them) at Sephora.

I like the Mimosa Hair Honey and Hair Milk. I would use them more if they had them in my Sephora but I don't want to pay shipping.

I also still use HHB though the formula is soooooo much more waxy than it used to be.

I agree it's more waxy, but I think that's because they put something in it so you don't have to refrigerate it anymore. But it still does a good job of moisturizing after washing and before airdrying. Let's my hair air dry w/o the frizzies.

i still use the HHB and have been using it close to 3 years now and i still think even with the changes it is the best moisterizer i have ever used. i have yet to find something that works as well

i just ordered the Khoret Amen Shea Butter Hair Smoothie and so far the smell isn't great but i wasn't crazy about the way the HHB smelled at first either.

last year i had a sample of Mimosa Hair Honey and i wasn't crazy about it. it did nothing for my hair at all. maybe i was using it wrong or something. it did smell nice though

i just wanted to bump this to add that the shea butter smoothie really stinks! i was never keen on the HHB smeel but that was doable. i feel i have to use the shea butter since i paid $18 for it and even if it works good it sure does stink and is a turn off IMO. i though shea butter was supposed smell good

I still use CD products, matter of fact I just bought some HHB at Sephora on Michigan avenue yesterday. I need to get some hair milk, I like to put it on my hair after I wash it and let it air dry with the milk on it.
I believe she had to add some preservatives, because the shelf life was short if it wasn't refrigerated. I like the new HHB and I don't have to go to small shops and dealers to get it anymore.

I was wonder did the product work for you even though it smells really bad? I was so interested in purchasing this product. Maybe you can add some oils or fragrance to it or mix it with something to help with the smell.
