While surfing for old tried and true Redken products, believe me they had had stuff that worked great for coily/curly hair, I remembered that Redken had an analysis system that could measure moisture and protein content in the hair strand.
From the results, they'd mix up a corrective conditioner. The ratios would be protein to Climatress depending on your indiviual need. My hair at the time was in great shape. It took the guess work out of protein/moisture balancing. Anyone remember this? To be honest, I would go to a salon monthly for this service.
