What is it you ask?

With over 1 million units sold, the bright YellowBird dryer is the professional's choice of dryers. It contains a professional-strength A.C. Motor for durability.

One of my college roomates had one of these. I am considering purchasing this one, but I also have my eye on the Super Solano dryer and pick attatchment. I am not sure which one is more durable. I don't want the pick attatchment to fall apart on me!

I know right?! :lachen: I did see the pick attachment (replacements) at Sally's for $4.99, so it'll be alright :yep:

Well that's cheaper than the pick attatchment for the Super Solano, which I saw in the beauty supply for $12.99. Maybe I will give the Yellowbird a try.

I've had my second yellowbird for almost five years. I killed the first after many years of use.

How often did you have to replace the attatchements that came with it, did they break?

I never really used the attachments that came with it because I prefer those universal black comb attachments with the long teeth.

Yellowbirds are powerful and durable. I've never used the highest setting for fear of burning my hair or blowing a fuse. I've dropped mine many times, and it still works.

Oh, sounds durable. Off to research prices for a Yellowbird!

cool, let us know what you find out.

I went to Sally's this past weekend, and it was on sale for $27.99...

Well, I don't know if I will be able to catch Sally's sale, but I found it on eBay for $29.99. I will most likely buy it from Sally's because I will be able to avoid shipping costs. Even if I buy it from Sally's when it's not on sale, I may still be able to buy it from there for a cheaper price because of the eBay shipping costs.
