Hi Ladies,

I don't know how many of you remember SuperNapa, but she reported some phenomenal growth using sulphur. I ordered it years ago and am still dumbfounded as to how to get it in a form that is applicable and will give me a growth surge like she experienced. Can any of you help me out here, do you know how to apply it so it absorbs instead of leaving a caky yellow mess in my hair or running down the drain?

TIA and happy hair growing!

I remember her. I read that she mixed the powder with som Shikaki ( spelled wrong sorry) and and i think alma powder. They both are suppose to reduce hair fall too. I am not sure how she prepared the powder but i know that she applied a few drops of rosemary oil and pepperment oil. I have been trying to get the sulfur powder for myself but its harder in Canada to get your hands on the stuff. The best i have been able to do is get the water soluble suppliment mineral water called waterOZ in the 4x sulfer concentration. Sulfur is very posionous and combustable to i would be careful if i were you.

Be careful with sulfur, I know that I am allergic to any medications containing sulfur (I found that out the hard way). So you need to know that it doesn't agree with everyone.

HonEB,

Thanks for responding, I will be very careful. I do remember the shikakai and amla powders she used with the sulphur. I was just hoping someone knew HOW she went about making it usable.

blaxalrose,

Yes, I will be careful. In the thread I read years ago was a warning about it and most of us thought we couldn't even purchase it because of the danger.

You have to mix it with an oil of some sort from what I understand this is the best way to apply it. My Grandma used to use vaseline and sulfur on my Aunts and Mother's hair when they were little. I would not recommend v-line if you will be using it on your scalp.

Thanks for the reply Karezone.

Hmmm, some sort of oil? I guess I will just put some in castor oil, olive oil, coconut oil and whatever else I have to see what works. I just don't see it blending because the last time I tried mixing it with something it just stayed separate and would fall to the bottom after I would vigorously shake the bottle.
