Anyone else experience breakage while dc'ing?

I noticed that when I apply my mix of natural oils and conditioner to my hair and massage in the mixture into my hair I see little small broken bits of hair:perplexed. Anyone else experience this? Is it because my hair is wet and therefore fragile or is it just due to just having very dry prone to breakage hair?
Thought dc'ing was supposed to be good for my hair:spinning:

What DC are you using?

I'm using a mix of organix tea tree conditioner, caster oil, amla oil, coconut oil, grapeseed oil, olive oil and sometimes vatika coconut oil. No matter what I do, even if I just use one oil, I always see broken stands in my hands

In what condition is your hair now? Does your hair still break without DC'ing?

My hair is relaxed, about 5 inches at the front and almost nothing at the back as per my avatar. Although it has improved and filled in a bit at the back. I'm currently leaving it alone and just wearing a half wig while dcing. Can't figure out what the problem is. :nono:

hmmm...have you cut off all your damaged ends? When was your last protein treatment? If you're not protein sensitive, I'd recommend Aphogee 2-step...and then follow it up with a very moisturizing DC

IA ...also you may want to be careful with how much oil that you are using...considering that your hair is in such a fragile state - the oils could be added weight to your hair...which can cause it to break as well...

That's a lot of oil, and some of them are heavy. It may be too much for your hair.

I've had this problem when my hair is over processed...that's one of the reasons I'm going natural because my hair is much stronger when it's relaxer free
