Im natural and I have very dense, coily hair. Ive tried to manage it, but detangling was a nightmare. My hair snapped off so much. I didnt really want a texturizer or perm and I read about the bodiphier on here. Its supposed to be natural. Ive used it several times as a texturizer. I was very pleased because it made my hair more manageable and my hair would eventually "revert" back to its natural state after around 2 months. Last time I used it, I left it on a little longer. It doesnt seem like my hair is reverting back this time. Because of that I probably wont be using it again. Its definitely not a traditional perm. No burning, no chemical smell after you rinse it out, no damage. I dont think it would get hair bone straight. Great customer service. Packages are shipped out immediately and packaged well. Search for older threads on here and read through the website information before ordering. Im pretty sure its compatible with most perms.

Yes & my hair dried up and fell out. Guess it all depends on what your hair likes.
