Anybody know the shelf life lye perms

I bought and used the Silk Elements lye perm 5/16 and I'm ready for a touch up...is it still good?

Did it come ready to use? or did you have to mix anything?

Its already mixed...I didnt have to do anything to it.

I'm guessing it will be okay. I would do a "patch test", but if you don't want to risk anything just get a new one.
My hats off to you for self relaxing. I'm not that bold yet

The shelf life of lye relaxers is around 3 years.Just be sure that you have the lid on tight,if not the relaxer could lose its potency.The relaxer you have should be safe to use.
