I think you did an EXCELLENT job for your first try! :yep: It looks way better than mine would have looked, LOL Are you going to separate the curls at all? How are you maintaining your curls at night?

thanks

right after i took out the rods i took the curls and pinned them into pincurls, and the next day i took out the pins, and separated the curls.

but i went out the next night, and didn't remember to wrap my hair up when i got back, so they transformed into a curly "fro" (in my crazy hair album).

i guess it's easier to maintain the curls at night when you don't separate the curls, and just pin them up

but if you do separate, you can always pin your hair up into a messy updo or something.:yep:

You need to secure both ends with a clip or pin. It is alot of work.

It is a lot of work, but you don't have to secure both ends, just wrap the ends around the straw, then wrap some hair over the ends, then roll up and secure the the roots w/a bobby pins. But it does take a loooooong time. :nono:

well here are mine from a couple years ago !:

^ITA! That is too cute!

I can't imagine doing one now though. I did it once when I was relaxed, hair was just below BSL and it took her about 2-1/2 hrs to get them in and another 2-3 hrs to dry.

NEVER again!

I was gonna try these tonight but couldn't figure it out. I'm gonna pick up the small flexirods and use those. Hopefully I can get away with only using about 24 of them.:perplexed
