Beauty and Fashion Junkie
I relaxed my hair with my beloved Phyto Index 2 and told my stylist that I didnt want it bone straight because I want it to have a little body.
She actually ends up texturizing my hair. Now- the "texturizer" just looks like under processed hair to me, but I am torn, because when she blow dried it- my hair was thick- just like I want it.
THe problem is that parts of my hair is reverting DAILY and I dont want to have to put heat on it to have it match the rest of my hair.
SO should I:

a- get a corrective relaxer (which worries me-- is my hair going to fall out)

b- keep it as it is (also concerns me)

or

c- some other option I havent thought about

I have reada bunch of threads on texturizers and corrective relaxers but I am kinda of lost because it seems for every postive post about one or the other, there is a negative one as well.

I am a 4a/b and my hair is past my shoulders, 3 inches away from armit level.

Thanks!

If this is your first time relaxing that isnt bone straight, then yes, you can do a corrective relaxer. Because you have essentially been underprocessed. Or you could wait until your next scheduled relaxer and relax as usual, making sure to re-relax the underprocessed hair.
