I used Light Mountain Natural for my first henna treatment. I chose the "Bright Red" because it was one of the few "colors" they offered with nothing added to the henna (A lot of the others are mixtures of henna and indigo and they even have a "neutral" made with only cassia).
The directions were really clear and helpful. Even though I used Jamila to henna my hair last time, I referred to the instructions I kept from the Light Mountain box. Rinsing out the Light Mountain henna was a little difficult, but it was an overall good experience. The color took fairly well for the amount of time I processed it and my hair felt really strong. I admit I liked the results of the Jamila better, but if I couldn't get my hands any Jamila, I wouldn't hesitate to use Light Mountain again.
This was actually my second treatment. My hair came out softer than the first time, which may be due to adding amla, and I forgot to mention it at the time but I think I added Shikakai also. I know it was something that started with an "s".
LightMt. bulk henna with Indigo; grainy mess..the Indigo did nothing probably because it was already mixed. I prefer the Afshan, smoother and better results, easier to rinse out.
I was just wondering because henna just makes my hair tooo hard. I like the strength I feel from it but I am scared to do it again because no matter what I add or don't add, my hair is too hard. I was wondering if the light mountain didn't get soo hard.
