I wear buns 90% of the time.
When I'm not wearing a bun, I still wear my hair pulled back 7-8% of the time.
My hairline has suffered. Last night, I noticed that my scalp was tender above my temples on both sides. I checked it out in the mirror and noticed that my hairline has thinned terribly. I've never paid it any attention before! But in the areas that were tender, there is practically NO HAIR. There is typically baby hair in this area that is thin/sparse and it's always been that way so I was never worried before.
Now I have to figure out a way to style my hair that is EASY and doesn't require my hair pulled back too tightly. I've also stopped wearing my scarf at night and just sleep on my satin pillow. Any advice? I have a referral for a derm so hopefully I'll get to talk to him/her about it within a month, but what to do until then?
TIA
