How is that working for you. I am a no trimmer for 2 years I think and it has aworked for me. My ips are really thick and my hair is rounding nicely at the bottom. I prefer the bushy look. Bonjour

Checking in!! I haven't trimmed in a year, and before this forum I didn't even think that it was possible to go that long without a trim. Overall I think it has helped to thicken my hair and has allowed some problem areas to really improve and catch up.

I haven't trimmed in a year, but my hair is growing in pretty unevenly. I may trim in about 6 months or so. The ends are thin, but it is growing in fairly thick.

Since hairs do not spurt growth at the same time and not all areas grow in at the same time it will not grow in even. To me it is not big deal. Bonjour.

Here goes another no trimmer...the last time i trimmed my hair was in nov 04...I've been wearing my hair up since then so there's never a need for me to trim...i'll dust a little here and there but that's about it.

I haven't trim in over a year. I'm growing unevenly and I wear my hair down most days and still looks good to me.

i WANT to be a no trimmer... i dont know why i obsess so much over trimming. My last trim was Sept 2nd, and I'm planning to hold out (NO dust, NO trim) til my touch up on Dect. 17.
How do you ladies do it? I just start getting paranoid even though I hardly ever wear my hair out... I feel like maybe i'm not moisturizing enough or something.

Are you insane moisturizers? maybe that's what I should do to become a non-trimmer. I was such an excessive compulsive trimmer that I haven't seen bad ends since 2003. I never let them get uneven, trimming every 6-8 weeks... and when I didnt trim, i'd massacre my hair to the point that when I got a trim, I really needed a cut most of the times :(

I haven't trimmed in almost a year and am planning to go for at least another 6 months. My ends are fine. For the first 6 months, I moisturized like crazy every night with the baggie method, but that was really unnecessary to be that strict since my ends are hardly ever exposed.

I used to think I HAD to trim my hair every 8-10 weeks and then had the nerve to wonder why my hair never got any longer!

As long as your ends are protected and healthy, most people can go a VERY long time without a trim.

I dont trim and never have. I had a BC in the summer of 2003. I havent trimmed since then and dont plan to. I did dust my ends a few months ago but that was it.

I don't plan on trimming for a whole two years. My last trim was late August when I did a blunt cut to make it even. My ends should be fine. I wear my hair in a bun during the week and out on the weekend. When it starts to grow in unevenly again I am just going to let it grow and not fuss over it.

I don't trim cause I dust often, does that count? My last 'serious' trim was last Nov when I had my mom make my ends blunt. I lost length for nothing because my hair grew back into a v shape.

I wear protective styles often so no sense in me trimming until I can commit myself to wearing my hair out more. Now when I reach my goal of mid back I will trim to a blunt cut - maybe.:look:

You can count me in!!! I don't see a trim in my future at all... My last trim was Aug 04...the last time I saw my former stylist. She took off 1 1/2inches as usual and it was the straw that broke the camels back.... No more trims! Since then, i've dusted my hair probably June 05, just to even up the back and cut the sides since they seem to grow a lil bit faster than the back. And my hair has been doing pretty nicely...my hair isn't bluntly even, but it's naturally even and looks nice when i wear it straight which is usually every day. The look i'm hoping to achieve is naturally layered hair. I hate the blunt cuts that stylists give when she trim...it makes me feel like a librarian. (lol) I want the back-bottom to be longer than the back middle, and the back middle to be longer than the back top (is that clear?). and i'd love for it to grow into a U shape or even a V would be fine.
I don't plan to dust my hair, until 4/06....right before my wedding!!!

I wish I was...but my hair looks over all better with a fresh trim every 4-5 months. With it being curly Im prone to fuzzy ends no matter how well I take care of my hair.
