Think Slim
I currently use Creme of Nature relaxer. My stylist used Mizani once and I thought it was a little expensive at the time. Now, I'm wondering if it's worth giving a second shot.

Can anyone tell me why it may cost so much and share your experiences with this product?

I use this relaxer and I love it..it's the ONLY relaxer that I have ever used that didn't burn me (if I'm based). My hair also feels a lot healthier and looks shinier since using this relaxer. (I've been using it since August of 03).

IDK why it costs so much, but I ordered mine from sheldeez.com for a pretty good price. I got the relaxer and neutralizer for about 40.00 I think, and I've used the relaxer twice and still have plenty left!

I don't know why it costs so much, but I will not use another line now I have found it.

I use the relaxer and all the Mizani products, and my hair has grown so much [about 5 or 6 inches in the last year], and is much healthier than it has ever been.:D

I hate it my hair had broke off with this relaxer, also the stylist wasn't good either.

The question is, was it the relaxer, or was it the bad stylist, or was it something else?

Oh shucks, I forgot I asked this question...spending too much time on the OT board :look:

Thank you ladies. I'm not sure whether or not I'll switch, but my relaxer seems to be virtually unknown outside of NYC.

My stylist gave me a Mizani relaxer a few years ago, and it was my worst relaxer experience ever. She used the mildest formula available, but it totally set my scalp on fire. It did relax my hair pretty well, but being set ablaze was entirely too high of a price to pay for straight new growth. At that time, the Mizani relaxer was $90.

I once got my hair done at the salon and my hairdresser used the Mizani Lye-Relaxer on me. I really liked it but it was very expensive (too much for me) Afterward my hair was boucy, chiny, and easy to style. I have purchsed a 4lb tub from one of the members of LHCF. Due to me being a scardy cat I haven't used it just by myself because it's a 'professional' relaxer. I am not tryin to break my hair b/c I'm too cheap

I use the Mizani relaxer and I really like it. It leaves my hair silky, and really healthy looking. I also like the Moisterfuse condioner, I use that sometimes as a deep conditioner. I also order my relaxer from sheldeez, I think I paid about 17.00 for it.

I have been using the Mizani sensitive scalp relaxer for two years and I love it especially because it does not burn my scalp.
