I'm trying to find a way to maintain a rollerset while working out. I take a Spinning class which really leads to a lot of sweating. By the time I'm done, all my work is down the drain. I was thinking of doing the class with a few rollers in my hair, preferably ones that offer good ventilation so that my hair will dry quicker. Any suggestions?

I am SOOO not an expert by any means. Lord knows me and my TWA don't know nothin bout no rollersettin! But what about pincurling before? This was the first thing that popped into my head.

could u put it up on a clip or loose ponytail so the ends cant get wet and tie your edges down....then when it dries you can let it down again? My roots poof when I work out but if I keep the ends some kind of way to where they wont get wet with sweat, they are ok.

Using the really small rollerets (kind of give you the strawset look) usually works for me. Pinning on top of your head should work as well.

either pinning your hair up or wearing a ponytail with the sides tied down mentioned earlier would probably be the best way. I sweat a lot to so I just wash if it looks bad. if you wear the rollers you hair will still be wet and sweaty and depending on what you are doing post workout if you need your hair to be dry or not

I workout 4 times per week (2 of cardio and 2 of strength training), and like you, I sweat a lot. I maintain my rollersets by covering my hair with a thin net, like people in food industry wear. After I workout, I keep the net on my hair until it is completely dry...which doesn't take long because the net is so thin that air passes right through it. After my hair is dry, I remove the net, shake out the curls, and go!

I got this idea from Lonei (thanks, Lonei), and it works great. Hope this helps you, neenzmj.
