If so, how are you liking it and has it truly helped you to be able to better manage your hair overall? Have you noticed any other benefits? Or do you hate it? I did research some passed posts but haven't seen anything lately regarding yogurt for hair.
Not a regular user, but I used the naptural85 method as a Pre poo last week and I really liked the definition and softness I got. It also helped a lot with my tangles which are the debil! I'm considering it over the chicoro Pre poo for the winter months.
I have used yogurt 2 or 3 times but not regularly enough to give you a review. I do plan on using it more often in 2012 but just have not gotten around to it. I don't hate it but haven't used it enough to say whether I notice a difference.
I've used it as a regular conditioner and I liked it. If you're out of store bought conditioner, or on a "only ingredients i can eat" regimen then I recommend it for any hair type.
Yogurt is one of those ingredients that will never make it to my head. That, avocado and eggs are just no-gos for me. My mouth readily consumes them and I think it would start a war with my hair if I dared use them for something other than the deliciousness on my tastebuds. I'm just sayin .
I've used it but unless I mix it with conditioner I spend the entire time wiping away the drippies. Sometimes even after I add conditioner it still drips. If not for the drip factor I would use it regularly
im used to using yogurt. It makes my hair strong. But the thing is that if you use it alone....it will feel a bit weard, hard.. But it goes away
I use a small pot of natural yogurt. I add an egg, some olive oil, and sometimes honey. My hair was soft. Ive already done this same mixture with avocado.nice too.
Ive even used fresh cream to do this. Its gives a softer feeling to the hair than yogurt.
my hair actually likes this stuff but i really change all the time and not do the same thing.
The best thing ive ever used is avocado: that just detangles my hair so well!
Regular yogurt user for years. For me its a medium to heavy protein treat for my hair depending on whatever other ingredients I choose to add.
I have a sensitive scalp so I avoid putting this on my scalp
Droid baby!
I use it once every couple of months as my protein tx.
I started using it the month after I BC'd. I only had about 1" of hair and it was hard. I read on the boards that it was supposed to "loosen" curls...it didn't. Once I grew in my journey, I was no longer after curl definition and found it to be a wonderful protein tx.
I used to just cover my hair in yogurt (plain, full fat) and leave it on for about 30 minutes. For the past year, I have been adding it to my moisturizing DC and using it like that.
My only issue is that it's hard for me to find small containers of plain, full fat yogurt so I end up wasting the big container
Chiming in here! I've only used yogurt 2-3 times. Most recently I just mixed some up with some conditioner and made it a deep treatment. Made my hair feel soft and easy to detangle!
