How I cope:
Washing in sections, being patient when handling, never allowing my hair to shrink ever. Deep conditioning regularly helps a lot too.
I like Silk Elements Revive & Restore Repair Masque Deep Conditioner, Pantene deep conditioners, and Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Conditioner. I also like Curls Ecstasy but it is expensive. Cure Care Conditioner is also cheap (And it can be found at Sally's) and I think it provides a decent amount of slip.
ETA- I also use VO5 and Giovanni Smooth as Silk to CO wash with also, but Curecare has more slip IMO.
Yes, i'm a 3 T sufferer!!!
I have realised that wash n go's are a complete no-no. It encourages tangles. My hair has to be blowdried then styled - which at the moment is natural twists for the past 2 months.
The only product that helps with detangling is Kids Organic Detangling Shea Butter Leave-in Lotion. No other product that i have used works like it.
The thickness is all down to the amount of strands on my head as the strands themselves are very thin - hence detangling is even harder for me as it breaks more easily. I have to blow dry in very small sections.
My scalp is sensitive and tender. I have found using a mixture of Amla Plus oil with a few drops of Rosemary Oil and Tea Tree Oil very soothing. I now do not use false hair in my head (ie braid extensions) - my scalp is just too sensitive and it is red raw everytime i do.
