I first want to say that I love this place, I have been here maybe two weeks and I have learned so much.

I tried some coconut milk, just because I was curious, I used coconut milk, mixed in some keraphix, henna conditioner in a packet, and hot six oil. I warmed in in the microwave and left it in for like an hour(I was doing my mom's hair too). Then I rinsed, I love the way my hair turned out. I just pulled it into my usual pigtails and let it dry overnight, today I just bumped under the ends(I only use heat twice a month)
I have added three pictures to my photo album for you guys to see, though my digital camera is not all that great.

I'm lucky enough to have pretty strong hair, ie: it's relaxed and has been colored and it's pretty healthy, but my hair has just flourished from you guys' knowledge...thank you!

I tried the coconut milk/lime juice combo. I loved the way it made my hair feel up to the point I began to rinse. After that my hair became really tangled. Even, after conditioning it was still hard to untangle. Next time I will try your technique and add it to my conditioner sans the lime juice.

This sounds really intriguing! I will definitely give it a try. Did you sit under the dryer with this conditioner concoction or go without heat?

I think it did straighten it a little, I have a spot near the crown that grows so much faster than everywhere else and the little waves that were starting to come in aren't there anymore...hope that helps

Nope, I didn't sit under the dryer, I hate the dryer honestly...I did microwave it so it went on warm.
