On Wednesday, I used Phyto, after a 5 month stretch, and I love it! I actually bought Index 1 and 2, because I'm a PJ, and wasn't sure what kind of condition my hair would be in after my stretch. I ended up using Index 1.
I scratched my head the day of the relaxer
eek: I couldn't help it), and I used MTG (as a leave-in) on Saturday, so I was pretty nervous about burning and underprocessing, but this new growth couldn't wait any longer. I had no problems whatsoever.
At first I wasn't sure what all the fuss was about. I didn't really like the way my hair felt after using it...it wasn't soft at all, and it was pretty hard to untangle. I'm thinking it was the milky reconstructor thing. I've heard others say not so great things about the milky reconstructor, so I wasn't surprised.
My hair wasn't dry Thursday morning, so I just wore a bun, but when I got up this morning, my hair was sooo silky and light as a feather. My hair is usually very limp the first week or so after I get a relaxer, but the body my hair has now is amazing.
I think this was definitely worth the money. I did a twistout this morning, and my husband even commented on how good my hair looked. I think I will be a Phytorelaxer'er
for life.
