On Wednesday, I used Phyto, after a 5 month stretch, and I love it! I actually bought Index 1 and 2, because I'm a PJ, and wasn't sure what kind of condition my hair would be in after my stretch. I ended up using Index 1.

I scratched my head the day of the relaxer ( I couldn't help it), and I used MTG (as a leave-in) on Saturday, so I was pretty nervous about burning and underprocessing, but this new growth couldn't wait any longer. I had no problems whatsoever.

At first I wasn't sure what all the fuss was about. I didn't really like the way my hair felt after using it...it wasn't soft at all, and it was pretty hard to untangle. I'm thinking it was the milky reconstructor thing. I've heard others say not so great things about the milky reconstructor, so I wasn't surprised.

My hair wasn't dry Thursday morning, so I just wore a bun, but when I got up this morning, my hair was sooo silky and light as a feather. My hair is usually very limp the first week or so after I get a relaxer, but the body my hair has now is amazing.

I think this was definitely worth the money. I did a twistout this morning, and my husband even commented on how good my hair looked. I think I will be a Phytorelaxer'er  for life.

So was your hair straight or texturized-like?

I bought the Index 2 for my 4a/4b hair and I want to make sure myhair gets straight.

My normal relaxer Profectiv has disappointed me 2 times in a row. It used to really make my hair nice and straight, but not anymore.

It seems more texturized than straight, but I didn't leave it in for the full amount of time. I have thin/fine hair too, so depending on your hair texture, Index 2, might do a better job of "straightening."

I am glad your hair turned out nice. I am hoping for the same...I bought index 2 and want to do my hair today... what is up with the milky reconstructor?

I've never used the milky reconstructor as some people said it made their hair tangly. Some said they didn't have problems. I don't want to have to deal with the possibility of that so I use AO GPB instead.

I am glad that your guys have mentioned this because I don't want anythign that is goingt o make myhair tangly. I think I will use my regular conditioners. AO GPB is a good one for this, too.

I am a converted phytorelaxer user now!!

Absolutely wonderful relaxer.. I followed every step and used the entire kit including the milky reconstructor... It didn't make my hair tangled at all...I had to use the entire tube- i have a big head.. and I combed it thru with no problem.

My hair came out very straight and soft....I think next time I can probably get two uses out of the kit, since now I know how much to use. I cannot believe that this no-lye relaxer got my hair this straight. WOW is all I can say!!!

MsBrown and Dogmd welcome to the Phyto club. I'll be using it again next weekend most likely. I've been using it for about a year and a half now. Certainly worth the money...glad you guys liked it.

If you come up with one...please share... so I can throw it up at the LA meet and GREET~~! :lachen:

*make sure u are no where near crip or bloods territory...folks might get confused and think summin is up...*

Take the index finger on the left hand and the thumb and index finger of the right hand (forming a U), place against the left index finger for the P

then take the thumb/index finger right hand, angle them upwards along with the left index finger for the H

then pull the peace sign for the Y

right index finger on top of the left index finger for the T

then make an O with both hands (similar to the ROC hand sign)

Phyto Gang sign initiated!;)

How long did you leave it on for? The 25 minutes? Did you smooth? How straight did it get it? Bone straight? 80%? etc.?

Hey, glad to see more Phyto users. I am 8 weeks out from my first Phyto in January and I am Phyto for life! I used index 2 and left it in for 25 minutes. I only used half the jar on 1.5 inches of new growth and it worked great. I didn't use the milky reconstructor...I used my Elucence, but I may try it next time. I am trying to stretch to 12 weeks, which is really tough for me. I'm a former 5-6 week girl. I keep opening the cabinet and looking at the other half. Someone please help! Congrats to the new Phyto converts!:D
