janeemat said:What kind of heat protectant/serum/product are the Dominicans applying to the hair right before they put the hot dryer and round brush in the hair to style. I noticed most people that get them has nice shine such as Kinikakes.
KiniKakes said:Hi Janee!
The only thing that the Dominican ladies put in my hair post-washing is Infusium 23 Leave-In Conditioner (Original Formula). THey dont use any heat protectant...... I think the shine is a result of the wonderful shampoo and DC that I use (Nacidit Aceite de Olive Shampoo w/Avacado Cholesterol Cream Conditioner).
Afterward, i dont let them spray it with sheen or use any kind of serum or oil..... because my hair is SO fine/thin that any bit of oil can weight it down.
Oh, fyi, i think my hair also tends to look very shiny in the pics because of the lighting and so forth. With enough lights and a great flash, my hair looks way silky/shiny. Im not sure if it actually looks THAT great in person.

I have already added several Dominican cond to my rotation and I do love them. I have the Tratamiento Aceite de Oliva and was going to order the poo as well and a rinse. Do you think this one is as good as Nacidit.
