Another Color Question... Choosing the Brightest Color?

I have found that with rinses that if you use a super bright color it has a better chance of showing up better in your hair. I used Jazzing in Red Hot and I was scared because it looked super light. The pictures below are how the color turned out. It's kinda hard to see.

My question is does the brightest colors always have the best chance of showing up? Example if I used A Natural Instincts light red color would it be more visible?

Thanks ladies. Most of the red you see is because my hair is naturally lighter in those areas.
