I did this on dry hair. I sprayed one pump of Elasta QP H two O and used Afroveda Curly Pudding and twisted. This morning, the twists were all undone because I didn't tie my hair down. I resprayed and knotted again. I let it dry and then undid it.

ETA: I am 2 months post BC. I transitioned for 15 months and BC'd in February 2010.

My hair normally comes out a Hot Mess so I am actually excited.
I just need to see how these will hold up in the humidity.

Thanks ladies. My hair is so soft, it is unbelievable. Every time I have tried a bantu knot, my hair was crunchy and hard.

Thanks for the pointers BMP. I did this on dry hair from my 1st roller set that I did on my hair since the BC. I will try with wet hair one day.

you did a great job! do you have an public album
Thank you. I don't have a public album yet. I have been trying to add more pictures but the forum is giving me problems.
This is my 1st thread with pictures. I've been here 2 years so I figured I should be more active. :yep:
I will add my fotki to my siggy when I finish uploading.

Well mine was a huge fro so all I could do was throw satin over my pillowcase and sleep on the side of my face:giggle:

If your hair can fit in a satin bonnet wear that and if the curls drop then bantu knot overnight again:yep:
