it's the best and most effective vitamin that i have used so far. Nothing came close. I used biosil religiously every morning, did the biotin/bcomplex every morning for about 1 year.
using the andrew lessman capsules, i didn't have an upset stomach, and their dosage of ORGANIC MSM in their recipe makes a huge difference in my hair skin and nails. they are worth the money. i tend to think it's the purity in their ingredients.

femmemuscle thanks for your post. I like that they are capsules rather than horse pills. For the amount that you get, I think it's a good buy.
You're welcome, and yes, the capsules aren't LARGE at all. I have also found that i am extremely allergic to sulfur. To the point of being taken to a hospital with a "Code Blue" due to anaphalaxis.
Because the MSM in Andrew Lessman's is organic, i don't have a problem with it. I occasionally have very mild itching/swelling on my right inner eyelid. To counter-act this, i increased my B-complex. problem solved. I don't why it works, but it does.
2 capsules a day, and i'd say w/in 2 weeks you're going to notice your nails getting longer/stronger. But also get your tweezers ready, in a few months you will be growing hair not only on your head, but other places as well.

Interesting. Not every vitamin work the same on everyone. Sadly these vitamins did not work for me. I like Andrew Lessman and I tried these vitamins three times for at least two months - three months with no dramatic changes to my hair, skin or nails. Good luck.
Femmemuscle: what were your results w/Biosil? Did you ever take more than 10 drops a day?
I'm using it now, and I have just upped the dose to 20/drops a day. The results with my skin are amazing - I can "see' the collagen forming, and acne scars are fading - too soon to tell about hair growth though.
I'm gonna look into the Andrew Lessman - I've never heard of "organic MSM".

using the biosil 20 a day is the recommended dosage. a few years ago, when it first came out, 10 drops was fine. biosil is silica, it's not biotin. the HSN vitamins might have silica, but the other ingredients are a help.
Now that biosil has become popular, i guess, they are saying that for nails just 10 drops. but for hair/skin/nails 10 drops twice a day works. so you are in the right place. i can only take it in the morning. i eat small meals every hours, so i don't think i can have an "empty" stomach after my morning dose.
organic MSM is not the pharmaceutical grade. (which is what put me in the hospital). i have to do my research, but i think it's a sulfur compound? according to the andrew lessman brand, they load a good amount into each of their vitamins.
i'd say the HSN vitamins were a good addition to my regimen. my hair texture and thickness has improved to the point that my boyfriend has said after my last take down that my hair has become thicker.
i don't have longer hair - just thicker and healthier.
on my scalp, chin and other places..

My mom is a huge fan of his vits. This is the only brand that she will use and continues to use. However, I'm not crazy about it. I tried his multi for women on a full stomach and it makes me nauseaus. I've also tried the Hair, Skin, and Nails for at least 8 wks and I saw no change in anything.
My little brother decided to take the Hair, Skin, and Nails for the hell of it, one day he calls me at work to tell me "yooooooooo, my hair is looking maddd straight, my face is clearing up, and people starting to tell me I look I have good hair" I was
. He said the only thing he did differently was take these vitamins and he admittedly eats like crap. No water, just pure junk food and whatever. He saw results from these vitamins.
I am also taking BioSil capsules, primarily for my nails, we'll see how it goes. About 2 yrs ago I was taking the liquid for at least 8-10wks and saw no change in nothing. I don't think my body is sensitive to most vitamins

I have been taking his HAIR/NAILS/SKIN for the last 3 days. I find them easily swallowed without digestive problems and without that feeling of "ugh..the pill feels stuck in my digestive tract." I will have to see the results after a few weeks.
