Does anyone still use the brand? I had no idea Wal-Mart sold their flat irons. I straightened my sister's hair yesterday, OMG, that chick has gorgeous hair. Its natural and I've never seen it in its natural state before, but anyway we used her Andis and she said she got it from Wally World. She has tyep 3C hair but it was so curly, I ran that thing through one time and it was straight. I got lazy though so I didn't section it off small as I should.

I'm sorry I don't know anything about an andis flat iron, but I did just purchase an andis blow dryer. It got really high reviews.

I had a pair, they were the first flatirons that i owned and I loved them they had a curved plate I wish that I would have gave the hot tools flatirons away instead of these because even though they were cheaper they worked much better than the hot tools

I have these as well. I liked them, but as time went by they became so so..now it takes me forever to use them, so I don't even bother using them anymore. They were good "Temp" irons, but I think I'm going to have to get a Sedu or HAI.

Okay thanks, I just bought me some yesterday during lunch. I'll see how long they last.

I bought the Red one that had nano ceramic ion tourmaline technology and all that other good stuff and it was just OK. The plates started to chip the next day :perplexed Took it back and the sales lady told me that that was a cheap iron :ohwell:

I wouldn't recommend it. The temperature would fluctuate and was way too hot at the lowest setting. I recommend a FHI

I love this iron for a cheapie flat iron for newbies or people tryna save a little money in their hair budget. It always gets my hair straight waaay better than the Conair that I own. I'd rather have a FHI or CHI though

I have an Andis and it works great for me. I just used it last night on my new growth to do a braid out for hubby B-Day today.

When I straightened for the first time, I used the Andis multi-heat 1 inch flat iron. It had a temperature dial that went from 1 to 25 (after 1 it went up in increments of 5). I straightened my hair on setting 10. It works fairly well and it did get my hair straight. I also used this flat iron to get my niece's hair, who's hair is about 6 months post, bone straight. I think I used 10-15 for her hair.

For those that are interested in this appliance, keep an eye on the temperature dial while flat ironing because I noticed can be easily turned with the handling of the flat iron.

I use this flat iron on my dd's hair, for my own hair, i bought a rusk str8 - LUV IT!!! Andis is pretty good for a cheap flat iron, especially if your hair is relaxed. My dd's a 3c and it works really great, though i never attempt to get her hair bone straight and i keep it on a medium temp.
